London based singer, Charlotte Lansman, grew up in Bristol singing country music and 60s rock in her parents’ car, listening to 90s hip-hop with her siblings and indulging in 90s & 00s grunge and indie with her friends. That broad musical backdrop was underpinned by a personal love of folk, soul and jazz, with hours spent soaking up tales of love, loss and politics from the likes of Tracy Chapman, Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell.
Her artistic journey has led her to perform her own material at venues such as Hoxton Underbelly, Camden Assembly etc as well as work with others where she has performed at Southbank Queen Elizabeth Hall, York Hall etc and also been involved in radio and TV work.
With her first EP in the works, and her sound clearly forming in her own space, Charlotte’s poetic writing and sonorous voice will draw you into her reflective, impassioned and entrancing world
